Burial

Whether you lose your baby at home, in hospital or a special clinic you have the right to take home a lost baby under 24 weeks gestation and have the right to bury at home subject to local authority guide lines. Please see The Royal College of Midwives documentation and SANDS guidelines.

Of course careful thought and consideration must be given when planning a home burial, taking into account what would happen if you moved house or the land was used for a new purpose in the future.
